Loving the freebies!

So...Yesterday was my first real day at the university, and I was spurred on by our successful shop at Tesco, so I was really excited.
Got up extra early; got ready. Was at the bus stop for an hour earlier than I needed to be there. I met the girl that I spoke to on FB there, she’s in my halls, and on my course!
Got the bus there together and then basically sat in a lecture theatre all day, and got a free lunch. I thought all the staff seemed nice, but it is all a bit daunting at the mo!
We finished at 4, and got the bus back - totally sussed out the buses (or so I thought!!!).

Got home, made pasta and salad. Got changed and Chatted to Jas, and my other flatmate, I can’t remember how to spell her name, but she is the nicest person ever! (the mummy in the flat) Gave me and Jas chocolate, and cooked a Spanish omelette!

Met Clare, the girl on my course, and met all her flatmates for pre-drinks. Got the bus, only £1!! Then headed into town. Went to lava, entry was like £5 (inc booking fees online). Had a fish bowl each, £8. Was fun!!!! Kinda failed at the buses however, as there was no night bus as it wasn’t a Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Oh well, taxi back was only £7.50 - between 2 of us…only £2.50!!
All in all a really cheap night; under £20! Love it!! Stayed pretty much soberish, too!

Today I enrolled. Took forever. But now I am officially a student at Brookes!!
Went to the fresher’s fair after; it was good, got loads of freebies…like a free slice of dominoes and pens and stuff. Joined the food and drink appreciation society and the Cheese and wine society too!!
Jas, Clare and I all got a student membership card for the local leisure centres. We’re gunna burn off all that cheese and wine!!! Haha.

Really need to do a bit of washing, but think I’m going to have a nap and cook dinner before attempting that!! xxx
