My new home
I arrived. Took all my stuff up the stairs to my flat, with the kind help of my uncle, and a boy from down stairs called Elliot. Met a girl called Katie? Then spent the next few hours sorting my room out. haven’t really encountered many people yet, only a couple of girls along the corridor from me.
The kitchen is bigger than I expected, with two sinks/ovens, large fridge and freezer, and a table.
My room is big enough; Red carpet, as there is throughout, Greeney Blue curtains; Bed, which is quite comfortable; desk and chair; and the en-suite. Hmm the en-suite…Well it needed a good clean I have to say! But it’s not too small - Reminds me of the bathrooms in a cabin on a cruise ship, in fact it is very similar!!
I’ve set up my laptop, printer, alarm clock tele etc, and realised I’ve forgotten a few bits. Firstly the aerial cable for my tele, second was hairdryer. Along with a few more things. I forgot to take a camera…which has annoyed me, so photos will have to wait.
I’ve just seen a few other people… don’ t know if they are living here or are family. I was expecting to have everyone here at the same time and sort of get to know each other, but that’s not really happened so far, but saying that I’ve only been here for about 4 hours!!!
