A whole new adventure...

An expression of my thoughts and feelings on my OT journey, both personal and professsional.

I‘m starting to accumulate a long list of people to receive a ‘thank you’ card at the end of this!!! Think I’ll have to bulk buy… Hello pound land… Wait, I’ll have qualified, got a job and have money, so no, not hello pound land, but Hello (insert generic card shop name here) .
That is the hope anyway, the plan, what I’ve worked for the past 2, well 4 years. Now I’m focused on a goal, all of that can be the means to the end, and I can’t wait, I can see it, arms outreached I can almost grab it… just 3 years of hard work to achieve it, that doesn’t seem so hard in the long run. Right?
Already a third of the way through the first semester!!!
Geeky and whatnot I know, but…

Assignments and due dates for my first semester
*Online quizzes: DONE
*Concepts presentation: Fri week 6
*MCQ1:Mon week 7
*Wiki: Week 8
*Partnerships essay & lib. quiz: Mon week 10
*OSCE: week 12 **
*MCQ2: Week 13.

“the mcq is in. but we should be done week 12. Just pray for no resit on the osce hahah.” (Don’t you think this sounds like we are talking in another language? If this is the vocab now, what happens when I’m qualified, will only other OTs understand me?!) **
It's all going so quick, it was summer, then start of uni, now it's soon Halloween, bonfire night, xmas, new year, placement, back at uni, valentines day, Easter, end of semester. SCARY!!

Oh and to prove I’m not always studying and not a total failure as a student...
Jas, Clare and I Jas,

**OSCE is the practical exam I have for my skills module.

xx
For example Splinting, wheelchairs etc.
