A whole new adventure...

An expression of my thoughts and feelings on my OT journey, both personal and professsional.

Now that I'm a bit more settled in...

...And am using the woman's internet...
I will write something a bit more detailed.
First of all I want to say a massive thank you to my wonderful uncle!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you enjoy your chocolates!
Had a nice and easy journey up here; comfy car, good driver. Greeted at the door by Sarah, a lovely, well spoken lady. She showed me and Michael around, and introduced us to her adorable little dog Millie - Who I will take a picture of at some point to post, she's so cuddly, more like a cat!!
My room is small and cosy, and cold - but I'm used to that cos of my heating at uni; clean and it's comfortable, which are the main things I was worried about!
My room for the next 6 weeks.
To the left of the photo is my bed, a bed side table, radio, and a small cupboard filled with Sarah's clothes. There's a dressing table, with my laptop on, which has storage space underneath, as does the bed. And to the right, behind the dressing table, there is a set of drawers with an old tele on, and a mirror. There's also some shelves. Everything is floral, and matching, with green carpet.

I have put my few food items I came up with (thank you mother!!!) in my box that I was allocated - by box I'm talking cardboard box! aha, and there's a small amount of space for my few bits in the fridge. As for the freezer...I don't think that will be an option whilst I'm here.

I have found one slight problem with my room, which is this:

This is 'faceless Ted' Viv named him on fb.
And he's bloody scary!!!!!!!!!!!

Will go exploring once I've had a chance to find out about the area, and if going exploring is a good idea or not. I need to do some food shopping...so far I know there's a co-op!

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow, soooooooooo nervous, but really can't wait!!
