Only 3 weeks left. Crazy times!
Today I achieved a fair amount. It was sunny out, so I sat at my desk and did work (yay!). I've worked on my case study a bit more, written about 1 of my theories for my social sciences essay - The appraisal theory by Lazarus and Folkman. Printed out all my slides for the week. And I did my A&P notes for last week.
I am going to stay with Kim & Michael this weekend, which I can't wait for! It's such a beautiful house, and so comfortable and relaxing. It'll be nice to chill out for the weekend, get a couple of hours work done (When my brilliant Aunt does some of her master's work!) and just spend the weekend with two members of my family that I don't always get to see that often! I can't wait!!
The weekend after (April 1st Eeek!) Ben should be coming down, and can take home a suitcase of my stuff that I no longer will need to try and minimise the amount to take back with me when I finish at Easter.
I really can't believe how quickly this year has gone, it's crazy!!! But I don't regret coming here, despite the work load!! I can imagine my 2nd and 3rd year will feel even quicker!! But I can almost see the end, the light at the end of the tunnel, whatever you want to call it I can see me almost there now. And I can't wait.
I'm glad I've managed to stay so focused and organised this year (so far!) as this was something I was concerned I'd lose track of.
I think I'm going to need more folders for next year! And I wanna see if I can get one of those little book bag/trolley things, I've seen a few people with them, they look a bit like brief cases/laptop bags, but have a long pulley handle.
I've even done my student finance re-application, and started my nhs bursary re-application for next year!
I really have a craving for Blueberry and Apple fruit tea... It's my new favourite thing. I have to say I have learn to love fruit tea. It's become my treat to myself, instead of something nice like chocolate and crisps...which I never eat anymore. In fact my diet is almost purely pasta haha. And fruit when I can afford it. I even bought Chicken for the first time since I got here the other week.
I'm looking forward to getting home because I want to bake. And cook a nice dinner. Which will be a treat, I love cooking, especially baking. But I just can't do that here.
Now to chill, get into my PJs and watch CSI:NY. Ahh what luxury...I am definitely destined to enjoy middle age :P
Xx
