A whole new adventure...

An expression of my thoughts and feelings on my OT journey, both personal and professsional.

Today was another lovely sunny day.

And I spent it all in my room revising!! Not a happy bunny!
I hate sociology with a passion, it bores me! But it's part of a compulsory module...
'This placed an emphasis on looking at the world from the perspective of the people involved in the situation being studied. Weber considered that sociology should not construct expert theories but should instead concern itself with seeking to understand the theories of actors themselves. The process by which this is done Weber called verstehen – putting oneself in the place of those whom we seek to understand and thereby appreciating the reasons for their actions (Bilton et al 1996). The affinity with occupational therapy’s claim to client-centredness is clear.'
Although I think most of it is total crap... Obviously some of it does apply to OT.

But going to take a break now and watch a film in bed, because what is that saying, 'all work and no play...'
