OT musing & a Saturday spent doing non-OT things.
The life of a final year OT student has very little occupational balance. I spend far too much time in my lounge doing work, or at university and not enough time in the fresh air or getting any exercises I am occupationally deprived, I lack the time or resources to rebalance my life currently.
And I have far too many ideas and thoughts whizzing around in my head that it is dizzying and exhausting. 17th May cannot come quick enough!!!!!
Today we decided to take a break from anything OT orientated and attempt to rebalance ourselves, just for today. We started the day with a long lay in, a clean of the house and a drive to Evesham.
Evesham is pretty, or at least what I saw of it was. I managed to find a couple of bargains in Dorethy Perkins; a pair of olive green skinny jeans (I am enjoying coloured jeans at the moment), and a pretty silky navy blue top with a high neckline, no sleeves and a pretty silver pattern, both £7. I have now guilt tripped myself into getting my work done asap. Katie also found some lovely dresses in DP, so all in all it was a fruitful trip. Following DPs we jumped back in the car and headed to Morrisons, for a very healthy food shop.
It was so nice to have a 'normal' saturday.
