The transtheoretical model of health behavior change (stages of change)
I really found this very interesting! A simple concept explaining the processes within change. May be used to explain why a change isn't successful.

It is "arguably the dominant model of health behaviour change, having received unprecedented research attention, yet it has simultaneously attracted criticism."- Armitage, 2008.
I like it as it explains why I can never stick to my new years resolutions, I am just not yet in the right stage of change!
